WEDDING EVENTS’ TERMS & CONDITIONS

 
           1. Usage of Event Venue

                 LUNCH (For Weekdays)
                 Set up time:        10.30am – 11.30am
                 Service timing:    11.30am – 3.00pm
 
                 LUNCH (For Weekends & Public Holidays)      
                 Set up time:        10.00am – 11.00am
                 Service timing:    11.00am – 3.00pm
           
                 DINNER (For Weekdays & Christmas Day)       
                 Set up time:        6.00pm – 6.30pm
                 Service timing:    6.30pm – 11.00pm
 
                 DINNER (For Weekends & Public Holidays)*except for Christmas Day  
                 Set up time:        5.00pm – 6.00pm
                 Service timing:    6.00pm – 11.00pm


                *Please note that there will be a charge of $500++ for every half hour or part thereof should the party extends beyond

                  the designated time.

 
            2. Corkage Charge
                  Corkage charge of $30++ per bottle of 75cl or less of wine or champagne is applicable. Hard liquor must be purchased from

                  Garden Events Singapore (GES).


           3. Food Disclaimer
                 GES will endeavor to provide the menu as proposed and priced. However in the event that supply issues occur and we are not able to

                 provide the proposed ingredients, substitutes of similar quality may be used. This will especially be the concern for events that occur

                 6 months or less prior to event date, and for specialty/branded/seasonal ingredients. GES will inform the client of such substitutions

                 should they be made.

              
4. Live Band Performance
                 The Villa sound system only provides for piped-in music and announcements. In the event that you require a live band, please make    

                 arrangements for a separate audiovisual system.

                 Approval from the management, landlord and relevant authorities are required for the playing/performance of music/singing/

                 dancing/use of microphones at certain specified locations eg restaurant outdoors.

                 Where there is an additional fee required to obtain permits/licences, costs will be borne by the client.

                 Details on music including type of music to be played (i.e. amplified, non-amplified, band or DJ, jazz, rock, etc),

                 number of performers and duration of performance will be required for submission to the relevant authorities and management

                 to commence the process for approval.

                 The decision of the management is final.

          5. Confirmation
                We seek your cooperation in confirming with us no less than 4 days before the date of your event to allow our Chef and his team

                sufficient time to order the ingredients.

          6. Booking & down payment policy
               As we practice the First-come, First served Policy we advise prompt confirmation in order to secure your choice of venue. 

                 Be advised that your venue may not be available even if you have been in discussion with our sales person.

                 If you book either one of our private venues, the remaining available venues will be open to any interested party or for restaurant

                 functions/usage.

                 For Wedding events with minimum spend of $15,999 or less
                 An initial 40% down payment base on the minimum spend or total banquet menu (whichever is greater) is required to confirm the event.

                 A 2nd deposit payment of 40% to be made two months prior to date of event.  All deposit payments are non-refundable.

                 Balance payment by credit card or cash is required at the conclusion of event, failing which the remaining amount will automatically be

                 deducted from the credit card details.

               
For wedding events with minimum spend of $16,000 and above

​                An initial 20% down payment base on the minimum spend or total banquet menu (whichever is greater) is required to confirm the event,  

                followed by another 20% deposit payment within 5 weeks of initial payment. A 3rd deposit payment of 40% is required to be made

                two months prior to date of event. All deposit payments are non-refundable.


       
        Balance payment by credit card or cash is required at the conclusion of event, failing which the remaining amount will automatically be  

               deducted from the credit card details.

         7. Events Terms and Conditions
             In the event the minimum expenditure is not reached, the client will be charged the full amount of the minimum expenditure of

              the selected venue(s). Customer agrees to be billed in full for the confirmed number of persons or actual number of persons,

              whichever is higher.

         8. Cancellation/ Postponement Policy
               In the event of a cancellation, GES reserves the right to bill the customer according to the following charges below:
              2 months before event                         :           80% of confirmed amount
              6 days or less to event                         :           Full contract amount


           
Cancellation charges will be off-set against the deposit, if deposit is insufficient, the guest will be billed the balance through

              the credit card above.

              Client is liable for any damage caused at The Villa including property, equipment and furnishing by him/her event participants, visitors,

              colleagues or any third party associated with him/her.
